Robert Walters has announced that David Barr will be rejoining Robert Walters as Recruitment Outsourcing Chief Operating Officer. David will be responsible for overseeing business operations and growth globally.
This appointment comes after the newly launched Robert Walters strategy and unification of their three brands (Robert Walters, Resource Solutions and Walters People) into one single brand – Robert Walters. Robert Walters aims to be the world’s most trusted talent solutions business and has set a strong growth agenda for their three service lines – Specialist Professional Recruitment, Recruitment Outsourcing and Talent Advisory – to achieve this vision.
David has over 20 years’ experience across Robert Walters, where he spent time in both the Specialist Professional Recruitment and Recruitment Outsourcing service lines. David was a cofounder of Resource Solutions’ (previous brand name of the Recruitment Outsourcing service line) Asia Pacific operations, where he spent 11 years growing the region’s portfolio. Prior to leaving Resource Solutions, and relocating to his home country of Australia, David was the Asia Pacific Managing Director.
In recent years, David has held senior executive roles at Korn Ferry and Allegis. He was most recently Allegis’s Executive Director APAC, where he was responsible for leading their Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Managed Service Provide (MSP) operations in ANZ and growth within the APAC region.
David’s career has spanned three continents, having worked in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney, giving a truly global lens and outlook to how he operates. David will be based in Singapore from early 2025.
