Tech and transformation talent specialist, La Fosse has announced a new initiative aimed at tackling the persistent gender imbalance in the technology sector. Under the name of UNBOUND, the initiative recognises that the tech industry has struggled with gender diversity for many years and that despite countless programmes and conversations, the pace of progress remains painfully slow.
Officially launching on Wednesday 23rd July at Covent Garden, UNBOUND is seeking to make some ambitious changes including:
- Ensure 50% of tech leadership roles are held by women by 2030
- Deliver practical career pathways, not just platitudes
- Curate a collaborative community that drives long-term change
This initiative is set to bring together industry leaders, rising stars, and career changers to spark real, actionable change for women in tech. Billed as the start of a movement rather than a showcase session, the evening’s theme will be “Breaking barriers: How Tech Leaders Create Change Together”. As such it will dive into how hiring managers, recruiters, and tech leaders can collaborate to dismantle systemic obstacles facing women in the industry.
Facilitated by La Fosse’s Justine Paech, the panel includes senior voices from across the sector:
- Hannah Thompson, CPO, La Fosse
- Lucy Kemp, Director of Brand, La Fosse
- John Musk, Product Director, Haven Group
- Glynn Blaize, COO, La Fosse
- Sabina Heywood – International Growth & Operations, Anduril
The event will also offer early access to exclusive new research from La Fosse, based on insights from over 1,700 women in technology – revealing what they really think, want, and need to succeed.
Host and senior manager of La Fosse’s Change and Transformation Team, Justine Paech, comments: “I couldn’t be prouder to be part of UNBOUND – and to be working with the brilliant team at La Fosse to bring it to life. This isn’t just another event, or another coaching session. We’re creating space for real conversations and real solutions.
“UNBOUND connects women in tech with a strong industry network, sharing practical advice, lived experiences, and actionable support,” Justine adds. “We’re here to break down barriers – not just talk about them. If you care about driving real change in our industry, come and be part of it. Your voice matters, and it deserves to be heard.”
The event is open to anyone committed to transforming the tech industry – from C-suite leaders to aspiring professionals looking to make their mark.
Spaces are strictly limited to ensure authentic discussion and lasting connection, to those who are ready to move beyond good intentions and start building a better future.
