Sellick Partnership has celebrated a record year with over £95m turnover – 30 per cent up from the previous year. The business, which has its headquarters in Manchester and additional offices in Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle and Derby celebrated its 20th year in business in 2022, and was also once again recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ by Great Place to Work® UK.
Jo Sellick, founder and managing director said: “I couldn’t be prouder of our 2022 financial year results; it’s an amazing achievement, and all in our 20th year of business.
“Two decades ago when Sellick Partnership was first established, we wanted the business to be a partnership between employees within the business, our clients and our candidates. I think this is proof that we have, and are still even to this day, achieving that.”
Speaking about the company’s success, Jo added: “Culturally at Sellick Partnership, the group directors have always billed. We all still get calls from clients and candidates who we have worked with for years and who we continue to help and support. This keeps everyone grounded and reminds us of when we first started out, and all the hard work we had to put in to get us to where we are today.
“It’s also a really positive demonstration for when new people join us, they see their company directors picking up the phone and speaking to candidates, attending client meetings and working really hard to support the business. I think that’s really powerful.”
In addition to their successful year, Sellick Partnership is still actively looking for an acquisition in the South West or the South East to grow its UK offering. Referencing this, Jo said: “Although we’re a Manchester business with strong roots spanning the Northern region, we are looking to grow our footprint and it is clear that we need a location in the South of the country.
“Ideally, we want to work with a business that shares our values and ambitions, and having the right people join us is critical. We are excited about this, as it will give us a huge opportunity to continue to develop Sellick Partnership and focus on delivering a brilliant service for our clients.”
