Jo Sellick has announced his departure from Sellick Partnership, the business he founded 22 years ago. He started the business armed with just a phone, and the telephone numbers of 250 businesses in the North West gleaned from the Manchester Evening News.

Thanks to his drive and determination, Sellick Partnership is today one of the leading recruitment firms in the UK with 115 staff, offices across the UK, a blue-chip client list, £100m+ turnover and a great industry reputation, particularly for culture and commitment to their people.

In 2019, SAMSIC Group became the majority shareholder of Sellick Partnership. Based in Rennes, France, SAMSIC is one of Europe’s largest business service providers employing 120,000 people in 27 countries.

Jo is leaving Sellick Partnership in the hands of Hannah Cottam and Ray Wareing who have been working alongside Jo since the early days.

Hannah Cottam will take over the role of chief operating officer of Sellick Partnership and will continue the work initiated by Jo 22 years ago.
