Robert Walters has announced the launch of its AI Readiness offering. The new advisory solution aims to arm HR professionals with the strategic insight and tools needed to implement artificial intelligence effectively and ethically across the workforce.

The launch comes amid growing urgency from business leaders to turn AI from an exploratory concept into tangible impact. While 60 per cent of businesses have already integrated AI into their recruitment process, a third of HR professionals say they do not feel confident in their knowledge or skillset to use it effectively, according to recent Robert Walters research. That disconnect risks undermining progress at a time when advancement in AI technology is rapidly accelerating.

The Robert Walters AI Readiness service directly addresses this capability gap, combining advice, practical frameworks, and hands-on support to equip HR professionals with the skills to embrace AI responsibly.

Developed by the firm’s Future of Work Advisory team, AI Readiness is already being adopted by leading organisations seeking to bridge the gap between AI ambition and meaningful implementation.

“Too often, AI strategy is treated as a technology project when in reality, it’s a people project with technological implications,” said Tom Lakin, Global Head of Future of Work Advisory at Robert Walters. ”We’re seeing AI shift from a concept to a practical necessity in HR – from automating routine tasks to improving employee experience and decision-making. But success depends on more than just having the right technology. It requires a deep understanding of ethical implications, change management, and employee confidence.

“AI Readiness is designed to demystify AI and help HR leaders develop a roadmap that is responsible, inclusive, and genuinely impactful.”

Insights from the firm’s newly published AI in HR e-guide reveal that while experimentation with AI in talent acquisition is widespread, few organisations have assessed the long-term implications on culture, governance, or workforce design.

Sinead Hourigan, Global Head – Talent Advisory at Robert Walters, adds: “AI is accelerating change across every part of the business, and HR is being pulled into some of the most complex questions – about how work gets done, how decisions are made, and what impact it will have on talent. There is a pressure to move quickly, but speed isn’t the same as progress.

“What we’re seeing from leading organisations is a shift in mindset, from viewing AI as a quick-fix efficiency tool to treating it as a strategic enabler for better human decision-making.”

The launch of AI Readiness reinforces Robert Walters’ position as a strategic partner to organisations navigating change, from digitisation and automation to the evolving expectations of a multigenerational workforce.
