The MCG Group is claiming to be on a fast track to growth with appointments of a new Chairman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A global leader in recruitment, consultancy and project solutions, the company is welcoming Ford Garrard as CEO, Ian Langley as Chairman and Jonathan Scott as CFO.

The group currently has a global team of nearly 300 dedicated professionals offering recruitment, consultancy and project-based solutions across multiple sectors, including engineering, technology, healthcare, education and construction.

Recognised for their commitment to growth, excellence and a people-first work culture, the group frequently receives industry praise, such as coveted spots on the Recruiter’s ‘Fast 50 List’ of 2023 and ‘Best Companies to Work For’ lists among their many accolades.

As CEO, Ford Garrard wields an arsenal of experience underscored by a proven track record of industry leadership. He served as CEO at Visuna, a global recruitment specialist in the energy and technology sectors, reshaping the technical staffing landscape through a successful rebranding strategy. He has also made lasting impacts in his prior executive roles at industry giants such as Airswift and NES Fircroft.

Ford has already made significant strides since he started in 2023. He has driven the successful rollout of enhanced Contingent Workforce Solutions through Managed Service Programmes, empowering sales teams to explore new business opportunities on a global scale. He has also focused on learning and development initiatives to create a more robust sales culture, as well as undertaking strategic senior management restructuring to facilitate exponential expansion and growth.

“Being part of this exceptional group of companies is an honour. I am eagerly looking forward to the journey ahead and am excited to fully understand the dynamic businesses within the group,” said Ford. “Concurrently, my focus is steadfast on the future of the group, forging ahead with innovative strategies to drive substantial growth in the years to come.”

Rounding out the powerhouse trio of executive leadership is Jonathan Scott, who has cultivated significant experience in financial management and strategic leadership from his background as CFO and later CEO of National Car Parks (NCP), as well as his earlier career at Ernst & Young. His proven skills in driving financial excellence and implementing effective strategies will be instrumental in guiding the MCG Group towards success and growth.

“I am confident that Jonathan’s leadership and expertise will greatly contribute to our company’s success and further strengthen our position in the talent solutions market,” stated Ford.

The MCG Group is poised for continued growth and triumph under the expert guidance of the senior leadership team while remaining dedicated to providing exceptional value to clients, candidates and employees alike.
