gary king -

publisher & group sales director

Gary is one of the founders of Recruiter Moves and publisher of The Global Recruiter, the first in the staffing industry to deliver a multimedia platform across all devices. With over 20 years of experience in the staffing industry and an extensive network across the globe, he has insights into recruitment trends that are affecting staffing businesses. You will also find him cycling up mountains, racing in the toughest physical comps, and sunning in his favourite Balearic hot spot (glass in hand).

chantel avis -

group event director

Chantel has over 15 years clocked up working across events and publishing. Her career started at a publication company where she laid the foundation to becoming an Event Director. Bringing leadership, organisation, and problem solving to the forefront, Chantel has become the go to person. It’s not all business with Chantel, she is a mummy of two and loves to let her hair down on the dancefloor.

trevor dorrell -

sales director

Trevor has been with the business for 13 years and has wealth of experience across the brands. He loves his football and can often be found coaching his 11-year-old sons football team at Chorleywood Common YFC, or at Vicarage Road watching Watford. He enjoys being outside in the open air and does a lot of walking with his apricot-coloured cockapoo, Mable, who is also the Recruiter Moves office dog. When the exercise is done, the BBQ is fired up where he likes to pretend he can cook, but we all know he can burn water!

simon kent -

editor

Simon Kent is a freelance writer and editor. He’s been immersed in the world of work for over 25 years without ever having had a proper job. He’s written about every aspect of work from law to reward, technology to policy. Simon plays and writes site-specific rock ’n’ roll operas on the ukulele, drives a Mazda Bongo and looks after a permanently hungry cat. He also writes and edits everything to do with recruitment and HR for The Global Recruiter and other publications, both as himself and as a ghost. So even if you haven’t read his stuff, you probably have.
